With a forty (40) year career as an executive, Julio Manuel Ayerbe has experience in the financial, manufacturing, and retail sectors. Between 1997 and 2004, he was president of Organización Corona S.A., a leading Colombian group in the manufacturing of ceramic coatings, sanitary porcelain, faucets, dishes, and insulators for energy distribution, as well as retail for home improvement. Previously, he was associated for twenty-eight (28) years with the Valle del Cauca Financial Corporation, Corfivalle, where he was elected president in 1983. Corfivalle, later merged with Corficolombiana, was a financial institution known for its diversified portfolio of investments, as well as its expertise in financial advisory.
